honestly, i really wouldn't call this dubstep. It's probably more like a Trance song in my opinion.
Still a really good song.
8.5/10 is your score because: It's a good song, just not what the genre is. I'm also not a huge fan of Trance songs, but i will listen to them, especially if i'm giving a rating. As you stated in the description, it is a bit repetitive, but not just at the end. This next comment is not meant to be rude:
If you think this is dubstep, look at Xtrullor. Dubstep is one of my favorite genres, hence why i clicked on this song. I know you tried to make it emotional, but you actually took out most, if not, all of the dubstep parts. It's alright though. There is always room for improvement!!
So, your score again, is 8.5/10

Thanks man. Honestly, I'm still struggling to find a way to make it stay dubstep whilst keeping the quality since I'm not too skilled with MP3 files. I also think I rush the final product a little too quickly because of studies and such. If I made more time for it and was working in WAV format it would definitely have been more like dubstep. As for Xtrullor, it was his music that brought me into loving the genre. Thanks again for the crit, much appreciated :)

Beginning: Not to shabby! just a bit repetitive.
1:15: love the drop!
2:22: sounds like laser guns from star wars, which makes it interesting.
3:39 again, great drop!
Ending: Brilliant! The ending is amazing!
I honestly wouldn't have listened to this song if i hadn't have skipped a bit of the repetitive beginning. You have the makings of a great song writer!

scoring higher than i should, honestly. the beginning repeats too much. the only part that got you an extra star was the part around 3 minutes into the song. other than the beginning, great song!

I love that beginning! Very ominous sounding, as if you are walking through a dark city, and the part at around 1 minute into the song could be when the 'kidnapper' gets you. All around, amazing song!

Gotta say, this song makes my day better. I was browsing your songs, saw this one, and clicked on it. It makes me want to dance to the beat, even when i am working on a project or something haha! You may be the best author of music in my opinion! I love your songs! It almost sounds like it could be from a video game...Maybe try asking a video game company if you could make music for them! Haha! Great song! 10/10

This song seems like a dramatic song, as if someone was preparing for war. It also has in some parts, a song like someone is mourning for a soldier who lost their life in the war. It is a very good song! Keep it up! 10/10

When i first came to newgrounds, i saw this song. This brings back memories. I love songs that are energetic, dubstep-like, or just plain epic like this one. You my friend, are amazing at making music. If i could i would give 10 out of 5 stars. This song made my heart sing! Great job and keep up the good work.
